Hello, can I ask members who have the new IA model, how is your experience so far?
Anything good or bad to report? Would appreciate to hear feedback from anyone that has worn it for a while. Thank you.

Hi, I got one for my brother, but he didn’t fit it yet.
Enzo IA is almost the same size as Phonak Naida Lumity, and thicker then the Lumity, this is size-wise.
The Enzo came with the a charging unit, as they are rechargeable hearing aids.
They came with metal hooks not plastic.
I will report back when he gives me any feedback.

I have been using these aids since September. As someone with severe/profound hearing loss who has been wearing hearing aids for 50 plus years I would be say they are the best hearing aids I have had.
You can find my more detailed report at this link GN introduces ReSound Enzo™ IA the world’s smallest rechargeable Super Power - #80 by MarkS
I would highly recommend anyone who needs a high-powered aid giving them a try. If you have any specific question let me know

Hi Mark thank you for posting this, honestly I have no idea why I didnt see your original review. And it’s a great read.
I’ve had more than my fair share of mic problems (x3) with the Enzo Q and I had just bought a reconditioned one when the IA model was announced. So I have been sitting on the fence so to speak.

Hi Finovox
I skipped the Enzo Q as it was released not that long after I purchased the Enzo 3D, but if I am confident that you are likely to find the Enzo IA a significant improvement.
I was nervous about switching from disposal battery to rechargeable aids, so much so that a few years back I remember very firmly saying to my audiologist that I had no interest in aids with a rechargeable battery. However, I am getting up to four full days on a single charge, and this has not proved to be a problem. I am now very much a rechargeable battery enthusiast and my audiologist has had the good grace not to mention my previous comments.
The Resound IA also has a changeable microphone filter, which may go some way to reducing any microphone issues.

Thanks Mark, I am intrigued by that replaceable filter and wonder if it solves the mic scenario that I’ve had over the years.
I’m glad you have found the battery suits you. I’m neither keen on rechargeable nor put off by it. I don’t have any hearing in one ear and I guess the charger only comes in a two-aid model which of course sounds like nitpicking but I really hate being monaural. Though I could see myself adding a second backup at a later time.
I spotted in your original review that the warranty is 5 years, so that’s reassuring on the mic problems I’ve had in the past.
Being able to connect computers directly to the without the phone clip would be one of my top requirements, apart from the audio performance.

I am still waiting for hearing aids to become available for purchase in Poland. So far, they are still not available, and I would really like to be able to test them
It is likely that there is a problem with the availability of this model in other European Union countries.

Isn’t Resound a Danish company?

Their website says “ReSound is proud to be part of The GN Group, headquartered in Ballerup, Denmark”. https://www.resound.com/en/why-resound/about4
The ENZO IA has been available in the UK since September

ReSound is also known as GN ReSound and is one of the brands owned by GN Store Nord founded in Denmark in 1869 (not a typo) and originally known as the Great Northern Telegraph Company. They also own Jabra, Beltone and a gaming accessories company called Steel Series.

oh my gosh, I apologize for misleading you. I didn’t expect Resound to be from Denmark, which makes me even more annoyed that Resound IA is not available in Poland.

Just an update.
An initial feedback is that these Enzo IA aren’t that different from Phonak Naida from a user perspective, but this is after 2 days of use, time will tell.
From phone call receiver’s perspective, I feel that the sound I get from these isn’t as good as the one I get from Phonak Naida, meaning when my brother uses Naida I get a clean sound from his HA and somewhat he speaks close to the HA’s microphone, in contrast when he uses the Enzo IA, the voice is much more sharper but it feels like he is kind far away from the HA’s microphone, with too much surrounding noise, also, when I talk, his side is muted (which isn’t the case with Naida).
Not sure if this can be solved with ?

With regard the phone call issue I have found with Resound Enzo IA that making calls from quiet environment was not an issue but in outdoor and noisy environments the person receiving my call would have a difficulty in hearing me.
The solution for me was to switch from the hearing aid microphone to the phone microphone. I use a iPhone and this can be done in the hearing devices control panel as per the screen shot below

Thank you.
But once you are used to using hands free call, it is difficult to go back holding the phone to speak.

I would suggest trying Connevans a- they are various spares listed of the Resound Enzo IA at the link below: -
https://www.connevanselectronics.co.uk/catalogue/14468561/ReSound-Enzo-IA-Super-Power-BTE16
This page refers to the both the metal and plastic earhook but it appears they only have the plastic one available.
If you need the metal hook, I suggest contacting them to see they can source this for you, I found them to helpful in the past

Thanks, I did, but the price per earhook is steep.
Also, any travel charger for the Enzo , I can’t seem to find one?
Thx
