I had purchased a TP-Link Tri-Band BE15000 wireless router in June 2025 that was considered mid-range (about $279). I have had almost nothing but these routers for the past couple of years. This one was to be a replacement for the AC4000 wireless router I purchased in 2021. Anyway. A bonus came in, so I had some - kind of - free money to spend and decided to upgrade. To a TP-Link Archer BE24000 Quad-Band WiFi 7 Router - BE900) that is around $445.
Anyway. Since I purchased my Phonak Infinio I90 Non-Spheres, I’ve had the persistent issue where they would disconnect and go silent for 30 seconds and come back. Even when I did the factory reset. It has steadily been getting worse. Which is just odd all around. It would happen: in the doorway as I come back to my room. in the kitchen closest to the router. Upstairs where I would be in the direct path of the router signal.
Now, as soon as I took the old router offline, and setup the new one: BOO YA. The disturbance is completely gone.
Apparently I just didn’t pay enough for a new router.
