Do Modern Hearing Aids Apply Your Program/Correction to Bluetooth Streaming?

@Gilbert @Raudrive take your point.. I keep thinking I should upgrade but tbh they are still absolutely fine. The gleam of thinking them astounding compared to my first Oticon for 8yrs before that hasn’t dulled. Apart from standard 5yr Audi advice I just don’t want the batteries to cave one day & be stuck with nothing while sourcing a new pair.

I can tell you there is great comfort in having a spare set of aids and for that day (that is going to happen) when you your current aids fail. I’ve accumulated some Marvels, a pair of KS 10’s(Paradise) and now my latest pair of Spheres. No more waiting for loaners when I’ve had an issue. Appreciate the original question. Nothing sounds as good as when its streaming. I’m curious as well if the program adjusts for my loss. i have a pair of Audearo headphone and that was there key feature. They run an audiogram and then adjust their output to match that. I use them for the audiogram feature. Don’t wait for your current aids to fail or need service. Deal with getting that next set while your current ones are still operating well and then keep them as spares.

Yes, I did keep the Oticons as spare for quite awhile; though they did have a mismatched receiver (old parts impossible to get) don’t think I have them now. I also got a set of airpod pro 3 recently for good hearing compensated streaming “with” ANC. They are brilliant for that purpose.

My Signia Pure Charge & Go use whatever choices I have the hearing aids set to when I stream from my Apple computer. For example, if I have the Tinnitus Masking on in the devices, when I stream it is still on. If I have the devices set to a program I have for difficult environments, which makes things sound tinny & crisp, it stays while streaming. The directional settings naturally don’t work.
Volume is set on the computer and the devices. They work together.

My phone doesn’t stream to the hearing aids, so no idea for that. (What can I expect for a two tin cans & a string phone?)
