Are these all as form factor came later with digital?
From a sound perspective what is different between these fully analog and the later ones that are analog but with some digital programming? Perhaps it is easier to maintain the fully analog ones as you use a small screwdriver for adjustments and not ancient software tools?
I’m tempted to find an analog pair to try but with cookie bite I might be wasting my time. Were there analogs with different adjustments at different frequencies? Even a small amount of flexibility might make it tolerable for cookie bite. For example, could one not make an analog that is effectively three in one, lows, mids, highs, each with independent adjustments?
