Otitis Media questions

Hello, I checked the older posts on this topic and didn’t find the information I am looking for.

I have otitis media in one ear and am on antibiotics, Flonase, and Zyrtec as well as warm compresses and Tylenol for pain.

Is it recommended to replace the receiver and not simply the dome to prevent reinfection when resuming wear the aid?

Do you continue to wear your aid in the other ear?
