Worth repairing one hearing aid?

Forgot to add. My original aids were replaced. The ones I have now are 5 years old. I still use them.

What models do you suggest keeping an eye out for that would be good for moderate cookie bite? I’ve wondered whether the digitally programmed analog models might offer at least some frequency adjustment?

You are very lucky to have a rechargeable one this long. Most of my analogs are over 20 years old and very easy to repair, since most repair people have all the old parts and can create new ones. I had some rebuilt, or made a new one, as they do with old classic cars, but it can be expensive but much lower than brand new.

$635 to repair (only) one four year old aid? Or $2k for a new set of something - lower end most likely. Top tier (Resound) aids from my audi were going to run >$5k a year ago.
Hello Costco - at least for the free hearing test and an in store trial. Top line aids (Jabra 30s in my case) are around $1,700, not sure about others. Add another $80 for custom molds if preferred. Full 3 year warranty included.
See what they recommend.
