I think they mean not being able to interpret the graph into a table of numerical values for entry into the site’s form.

Correct. To me, it seems like a lot of very confusing gobble-de-gook. I simply can’t sort out the correct numbers into the correct spaces. Thank you for understanding

Maybe this can help. First, Red is Right, Blue is Left. Not sure how they got the navigational marker light thing backwards, but here we are. Each of the red marks refers to to the right ear, and the blue your left.
Each of the marks is at an intersection of lines that indicate frequency measured (along the top) and the sound pressure level required to respond. So, for the first frequency measured, 250, Right is 55 and left is 60. Does that help get you started?

It would be immensely helpful to new people on this site to have a short video demonstrating how to enter your data. In my observation, it is the most common problem that people encounter here.

This is a great idea for sure, but wouldn’t have helped OP unless there were also a graphical input screen available.
I say do both!

Thank you for your question. No. Reason: I’ve had bad vertigo attacks, without warning symptoms in the past that were caused by an unrelated issue and were resolved a few months later. My best friend’s father had a C. I. done a few years ago and has been suffering from horrible vertigo attacks on a frequent basis ever since. I won’t subject myself to that possible misery ever again. Additionally, no reports from others who might not have any vertigo attacks will change my decision. I respect others rights to their own decisions. Thanks for “listening”.

If your right vestibular organ is already basically dead (sounds like you’ve had previous damage and given your likely on that side), then any further insult to it won’t cause further vertigo. This is something that could be assessed.

Indeed, my left vestibular organ is also completely dead. I have also right one partially damaged. However, I have no problem with balance, even in hard condition. Can skiing, skating, etc.
I have in my left ear. Nothing to lose, probably like your right ear @fitzie63.

You know walking across a city street can have adverse effects also as does living. If and buts are typically not helpful or fun.
Good luck with your hearing. I hope everything works out for you.

Absolutely, if you’re afraid of the potential risks that’s totally your call. You just said it was because of the potential vertigo and I was just letting you know that that might not actually be a risk in your case.

That’s very rare complications, most of them are reversible. Like driving car can be complicated by traffic accident. It’s incomparable to potential huge increase of quality of life due to better hearing.
If this was that harmful as you suggest, wouldn’t recommended to that scale as now.
