I’m disappointed in the new ReSound TV Streamer+ that came with my Vivia hearing aids. Its range is weaker than the old ReSound TV Streamer 2. It also sometimes stops streaming to one ear. I used to set my old TV Streamer 2 on my desk and connect it to my PC, and its range worked throughout my entire bedroom.
I’m using Avantree streamers and they have been amazing. With the Avantree Oasis Aura, I get full range over halfway across a 1,500 sq ft house. I also have the Avantree Audicast 4HA, and I can’t really tell the difference between the two. Both have better range and streaming stability than ReSound’s TV Streamer+. You just lose the ability to auto activate streaming with hearing aid push-button, but I have that reserved for the Multi-Mic+.
