I have Oticon silicone earmolds. The little ball on the end of the left grabber came off yesterday, leaving a stub I can grip but not as easily as before. I want to try to build up the material and would appreciate any thoughts on appropriate materials to make a new ball like the right one. Options I have on hand are:
- Hot glue
- Other household glues
- Woodwind pad adhesive pellets – these are small pellets of adhesive that can be easily melted to glue pads into woodwind instrument keys. They would be a perfect material in that they set hard on cooling and are easy to work with, but the ones I have are a dark amber color rather than clear.
- Any other thoughts?
