Good Peter, if you go for the Cinnamon & Porridge, you mix in the Cinnamon after cooking, and I then add a little ordinary milk on top… Oat milk gives your porridge a particularly creamy taste… Enjoy, cheers Kev ![]()

I don’t get an aftertaste with Splenda…But, like our hearing losses, we are all different… And our taste buds are different, Splenda to me almost tastes like sugar. I tried most sweeteners, but after reading up on “Aspartame” I avoid this at all costs, or try too! I read somewhere, once consumed, it turns into formaldehyde!!! Sugar free drinks usually use Aspartame, so I avoid like the plague… Aspartame can cause MS type symptoms if you overindulge, I have read of some folks being diagnosed with MS, only to find out they were drinking too many fizzy Aspartame drinks! Once they came off them, they gradually returned to normal… Canderel usually contains Aspartame, or it did, they might have changed this? In fact, I had a tea last night at a friends, I asked if they had any sweeteners, they gave Canderel, it’s okay on a one off… Cheers Kev ![]()

I have been away on a coach tour but good job I took my Lumity’s with me because I had to revert to using them because the Sphere’s were uncomfortable & made my ears itch, I do have eczema in my ears & use olive oil wiped onto the domes, I did try to get used to them for a week while away but had to give up .
I did have other annoying problems but My Audiologist said it was adjustments that was needed IE in the coach I could hear people 3 seats behind but not wife next to me in a restaurant I could hear other people on other tables but not wife opposite, have sent them back & waiting for EON Spheres mid September

Perhaps it's too long receiver wire, which make strange mics positioning?

The receiver wires were the same as my Lumity’s
I don't understand? So what length? In my case, I always used #2 length until I measured myself and it turned out that I should wear #0.
The info about length is in tge writing on your earmold or your receiver. It can be like "3P" or "2UP", where number means length.

I use 2M receivers in my Marvels, Lumity’s, & infinio, open domes in Marvels & originally in my Lumity’s then medium vented now in the Lumity’s & Infinio’s & with the measurements by last audiologist they are correct.

Update on the Roger installer ( or to be more precise lack of ) I was tracking it on USPS tracking & it took 20 days to cross America ( by snail probably) but now nothing so it’s either on it’s way here or in the sea & lost.

I buy a fair bit of stuff from all over the world, recently I bought from Ukraine on a couple of occasions, their postal services are still pretty quick, I was very surprised, tracking was excellent! The longest wait is usually clearing UK customs, but 20 days in transit from “The USA” is excessive! But, much depends on the service chosen, expedited Air Mail service from South Korea was very fast, around 10 days I believe if I recall correctly? 4 days of which were in UK customs, but that was around £50 postage, expensive for such a small item! Hopefully your Roger X installer will arrive shortly… Cheers Kev 😉

It is always worth to check twice. My former measured using cardboard matrix and and it came out #2, which was in my case worse than #0 later measured by myself using ruler, but at that moment I haven't any knowledge about fitting.
Regarding your high frequency loss it is a worth to experiment with P receiver instead of M. The sound can be fuller and there can be better differentiation speech from noise.
There are topic, IIRC, by @Elderly, who described that was beneficial. And that was also @platypus experience.

It's much sweeter than Candarel, so I detected a slight after taste in my tea. However, just using one tablet per mug, it's perfect. I like it

Yeah Peter, I am rather sweet toothed, quite a problem when you are type 2 diabetic, but, not an insurmountable one! Allegedly, we have my blood sugar under control, I believe? I possibly ignored any aftertaste I may have gotten at first to Splenda, if I did notice any, the aftertaste was pretty mild, my whole aim, where possible, was to eliminate any aspartame from my diet, I take 2 Splenda in my mug of Tea, and the same in my Colombian Coffee, but I usually restrict myself to one Coffee per day…Suffice to say, nowadays there is, according to my tastebuds, absolutely no difference between actual raw sugar & Splenda, well apart from Sugar being slightly sweeter, to me they taste the same…Like most things in life, if you consume something often enough, it eventually tastes natural… Cheers Kev 😉
