I tried listing on eBay UK, but my listing still got removed by eBay bot. eBay UK also prohibits selling hearing aids.

I managed to sell some old Phonak’s on eBay UK as I didn’t list it in the category, it wasn’t taken down.
Before I did list it in the HA category and it was taken down.

Maybe the admins should add an escrow function to the site? When the sale is made, it will be held temporarily by the site and when the tracking/buyer confirms receiving it, the funds will be released to the seller.

I found the explantion of who can sell Hearing aids( on fleabay or anywhere)
Based on this I believe Hearingtracker could sell them if …
They set up one of the Admins (who is an audi) to receive them on consignment from people who want to sell them.
Then they could list them and do the sale and then pay whoever submitted the aids.
Of course, Hearingtracker could keep a percentage of the selling price ( I think 20 -25% would be fair since they would have to check them first and then mail them, do the receiving and mailing, billing, etc.
This would give all of us a perfectly legal way to buy or sell.

San FranciscoThe question is: Is it required that the aids be sold with a prescription or can the hardware be sold alone? I have no clue but if it is the former, that could make your approach difficult .

Yes eBay has restricted hearing aid sales since May 2026. I have all oticon and phonak devices available gray Market from Europe. Complete kits with expert programming for all on the $2,500 a pair

Yes they have gotten strict with selling devices that require a prescription. I had mine removed .

High fees make hearing aids less affordable for everyone. Can we work on getting an opinion that they can be resold? Time to write your elected officials.

The already did that with (no prescription).
The problem is that prescription are medical devices that cannot be sold without a prescription, just like an antibiotic or a CPAP machine.
