I’ve worn hearing aids for about 20 years.

Quite reasonable, but for now that means using old Lumity (2022) technology, when, probably around 15th August there will be Phonak introduction of new generation hearing aids.

Due to issue above, I would hold off on making the final decision about buying a hearing aid for now. However, you can at least trial, for example, Phonak Audéo Infinio Sphere 90 with P receiver and power domes.

Nevertheless, bear in mind, you should probably have UP receiver embedded in earmold/cShell with pressure (0.5-0.8mm) or no vent.

If he/she will test your , take a printout with you.

When was your last appointment with an doctor?

I have workman’s comp. I’ll be grateful when I have new hearing aids in hand. I don’t know what brands are approved or what models.

I have a wonderful hearing specialist.

Thanks Ray. My hearing is getting worse and worse. I believe I’ll have a hearing test tomorrow from my Specialist in Burlington Ontario.

My P. audio Paradise P90Rs are 5 years old at the end of this month.

I predict I’ll be lucky to get new hearing aids at Christmas. It’s a Guvmint thing.

Last was about 20 years ago when I needed judgement to be accepted and was It was a requirement for workman’s comp.

My sleep doc is a Respirologist. He says I’ll have a long long wait to get an appointment with an ENT. I am confident this too will pass
