Cost of Oticon Intent 2R Mini Rite in N. Carolina, U.S

Welcome to the forum, I’d recommend to pop into your local Costco and trial some there, only around $1,600 for premium models, no Oticon but they have Phillips among others.

Depends on where you are in NC. I just got a pair of Oticons (not putting which model- some folks will just criticize it)- they were about $6,400- I’d have to look at the inventory again). I don’t know if the cost varies relating to where you are in NC - I’m close to Charlotte NC.

If your loss is in the mild to severe range you might be able to check out Costco as poster above mentioned but I’ve read in general that Costco (and other big box stores) hearing aids don’t really work well for profound loss. YMMV - some folks have said Costco aids worked for their profound loss though I do wonder what the actual dB level is of their loss ,

I have a serious hearing loss and just bought Oticon Intent. I spoke with a customer rep from Oticon and he explained that Costco hearing aids are very good and help many but not all losses. Many manufacturers have several models, but Costco for example sells just one and it’s the one model that the largest number of people will benefit from. An Audiologist is the best for those of us with a Seriious hearing loss (in my opinion).

Have any of you had experience with Dry Boxes? Costco’s “ Perfect Dry Lux” is only $39 99. Will this be ok to use with my Oticon aids? It has a 4.5 rating from users. Any comments will be helpful.
