I’m looking for a hearing aid dryer, I’m looking for something practical, I’d like to hear what you use and how satisfied you are,

I found this one, it seems practical, since you can put the entire charger in it and connect the USB cable from the inside

If there are other and better ones, please post them.

I sure like the concept of this dryer. I saw one bad review on Amazon saying it quit after a few weeks otherwise all pretty good.

Do you know what the inside dimensions are?

Looked on Amazon a little. The Folwup TC100 is very interesting but a bit more at $200. I’ve always liked vacuum to remove moisture.

There are a variety of options in this style dryer including Redux Ultra Dry & Charge, Dry and Store DryBoost UV, Flow Med Dry-Cap UV2. I’m not sure too many folks have used more than one to provide a meaningful comparison. MG is a known brand but of course that does not mean it is a good product or the best option for you.

Do you already own a dryer? You might be able to get by with drying as a separate task. Turn the aids off so they do not drain or connect to your devices while drying. Smaller dryers may be easier to use and will be less costly.

This is true for me. I owned a Dry & Store Professional for many years. It served me well.

Now I have an interest in one for my processors. Although they have been great for more than 5 years without the use of a dryer. I feel like a dryer would be a form of insurance that they would be in top notch condition day after day. I have questioned the sound quality at times and figured it had some to do with moisture or dirty mic covers. I like UV sanitizing.

Here in the UK, Cochlear recommend not using UV sanitising as it damages the processor.

Yes, I have seen that advice quite often, especially if the aids are rechargeable.

You are correct, my mistake. Good to see you on the forum.

According to Cochlear the UV-C will degrade the plastic over time damaging the color pigments and integrity of the housing.

I would assume this includes hearing aids as well.

I love the Perfect Dome. I double-sided taped the ReSound desktop charger inside. I charge the premium charger case separately if I ever need to go somewhere where I’ll be taking them off.

I put my i90s in the Redux Home every two or three days without turning them off. The first time I used it, it was like getting new hearing aids. Six months later, they consistently sound right.
