If I am not mistaken, Roger 18 pick up signal from signal (radio or transmitter), so you hear some sounds. Roger 18 works with Roger microphone device. Something is not right somewhere, whereby your Roger 18 is picking up some type of signals into your hearing aids. Check it out.

It shows you are under fit in the higher frequency, with default v5 Pediatric you get more gain there, have you tried it? Or maybe you don’t like so much pumping through your ears,Phonak’s adaptive digital formula is usually a bit mellow anyways.

I’ve tried it, but I have tinnitus, and it really bothers me.
I like these settings now, but my SKY V 70 SP is already showing signs of trouble.
Do you happen to own a used SKY V 70 SP, or do you know anyone selling one?

Roger 18s have a fault when old and worn where they go in to EasyFM, basically automatically go into the Roger Program and stay there
Default the EasyFM program is Directional on the Sky V70 SP.
The going into the EasyFM program has happened to my Step Mum and two other friends.

Have those aids always had the shoes on them?
They shouldn’t make any difference to the working of the aids.
When you transfer fitting in Target it warns that not all settings will be copied.
You need to check program options for each of the listed scenarios on the left eg calm, noise, music etc and make sure they are the same as original.

However, none of them yielded the same results as the Phonak SKY V 70 SP.
Have you had the same values? They not always are copied perfectly.
I recommend copying fitting by:
- creating a new client
- Connecting with your SKY V70-SP and copying fitting from it.
- Saving your fitting during exit from the first session.
- Opend new, 2nd session.
- Connect with another hearing aid.
- Transfer fitting from first session.
- Check acoustic parameters, feedback test, MPO values. You can do transfer again from 1st session after feedback test.
I found that transfer fitting from file is less reliable. Maybe it’s anectodal, just my experience.
I am an adult user. I use Phonak’s adaptive digital fitting (not NAL-1 or -2, and not DSL)
ADP os maily for comfort and initial acceptance of hearing aids, not for audibility and speech understanding. If you have hearing loss since childhood, you can try 5.0 Pediatric. It differs from DSL 5.0 Adult by adding 10 more to all frequencies. It is great to provide high frequency cues, which is essential to understanding consonants and speech in noise. That would be great taking advantage of your no vent earmolds, so high feedback threshold.

Because that’s what I feel comfortable with, for now
From 2019 I learned setting , and already hundreds of times I set HA for myself, and only 2026 janurai, a miracle happened,
I’d like to try using another setting, but I’m afraid this setting will change

This might be why there has been inconsistent outcomes with different hearing aids.
What you want and what you need for good hearing might be two totally different things.

Hi, just to clarify the “receiver” in your hearing aid is in the device itself. You seem to referring to the earmold as providing a good acoustic fit that is helping you hear. I would recommend replacing your Sky V70 with Phonak Naida L70 SP devices for the same level of performance and future hardware support as the venture products are now obsolete and parts may not be available for repairs.
You will unfortunately need to replace your Roger receivers as well, but if your transmitter is getting old replacing this with a Roger unlimited transmitter gives you unlimited Roger codes to install on new and future Phonak devices (they dropped the hardware Roger receivers which are integrated into the hearing aid chip for more reliable performance and better future proofing). With the new Roger On Sphere looking to be released this year you it would be worth waiting for this upgrade.
