I am finally able to hear with the Phonak SKY V 7 SP

I am only able to hear properly when using the Phonak SKY V 70 SP with the receiver shown in the picture; does this make a significant difference? I ask because when I try other models and import the exact same settings, the results are always different.

I have been using hearing aids since 2019, but things changed significantly in January 2026 after I added that receiver.

Now, my SKY V 70 SP is on the verge of breaking down. Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell to me?

If I understand you correctly, you hear good when using Phonak Sky V, but bad, when testing another (probably ) hearing aids?

You have great earmolds woth no vent (probably), so replicating that in loaners could be difficult.

When you tried another hearing aids, have you had receiver with domes, which were inserted into ear canals?

What receiver are you talking about.
did you try direct with the other aids.
Are you still working with needy children?

The receivers do not make a bit of difference in how the aids work for everyday life, unless you are with someone who is constantly using a Roger microphone to talk to you.

It sounds like you would do fine with a new pair of aids and custom earmolds - Phonak Sky L would work, or Phonak Naida L could be programmed for your loss!

The white one on the battery. what’s it called ? Roger ? Or what is it ?I’ve tried with tools Phonak SKY M 70 SP, phonak Nathos sP and SKY Q 70 SP, and SKy v SP without the addition of the White, and the results I can not capture well, do not even feel happy,

I now, if there is a tool for donation, still do it, but not as usual anymore,

But you use Roger microphone then? It’s no wonder that using that Roger mics can greatly improve understanding in noisy situations.

What’s your in quiet percentage?

That probably means your hearing aids transited to omnidirectional setting with their two microphones in each .

Only newer Phonak HA (I can’t recall from which generation) can maintain directionality beamforming during Roger microphone use.

Why using Roger 18 receiver without using microphone (transmitter) part of Roger system? I don’t understand.

Without microphone use you have default program aftern turning on your (probably Autosense OS 1.0).

I’ve been using this SKY v 70 SP since 2022, and it’s starting to have problems

I can only imagine the weight of the Roger 18 is improving the acoustics. Otherwise it does nothing to normal programming that changes gain in the hearing aids.

As mentioned any of the Phonak behind the ear aids should do the same as your Sky V SP aids. Are you using the same exact molds on all aids tested?

I am using the same earmold that I used with the SKY V 70 SP.

I then tried configuring several other devices:
Phonak SKY M 70 SP
Phonak Naida P 70 SP
Phonak Naida P 70 UP

Phonak SKY Q 70 SP
Phonak Nathos Auto SP

However, none of them yielded the same results as the Phonak SKY V 70 SP.

Is there anything specific I should do when importing data from the SKY V 70 SP to the new hearing aids?

I ask because I really enjoyed the experience with the previous ones (it was a happy six months).

Maybe the hearing is malfunctioning or getting old. Clean it up and dry it. Is the frequency function properly.

I will look into this further to understand why there is such a significant difference.

I am an adult user. I use Phonak’s adaptive digital fitting (not NAL-1 or -2, and not ), and I will share a screenshot of these settings.
