Have been using phonak audeo smart V aids for 7 months. Today for the first time, after changing wax traps, domes and batteries, I am getting an acoustic signal in one or both aids that sounds like an alarm, alternating tones like a british police car. It stops for a bit after I open and close the battery compartment, but resumes again after a few minutes. My aids are programmed for volume control, not program control. Changing volume setting on one either aid doesn’t help. Can’t find anything in the users guide, on the phonak site or elsewhere on the internet explaining it. My aids are currently unwearable and I don’t have access to my audiologist until Monday. Help!
