San FranciscoNo, the IOS 27 betas do not have enabled. It’s not a hardware issue, it’s the OS that continues to use with Bluetooth LE.

You can receive an broadcast on an iPhone as long as the hearing aid app has an assistant.

Don’t you mean that capable hearing aids can receive a broadcast directly when assisted by an iPhone with the appropriate app? You can’t receive an Auracast broadcast directly on the iPhone and play it through the iPhone speakers.

If it's a software issue, I think that hearing aid users need to start pressuring Apple to adopt LE audio, perhaps through a complaint to the appropriate EU authority as this seems to be the most effective means of getting Apple to switch from proprietary standards.

Platypus is correct, @freezerman404 , the phone helps the aids select a cast from the ones the aids can “hear.” The aids are doing all the LE audio work, the phone is just directing the aids, not actually knowing for itself what is actually being broadcast.

Got it. Like I said I thought it was Phoebe that got all excited that as long as you had an assistant in iPhone you could receive autacast broadcast.
