Feedback SOLVED left hearing aid GN ReSound ENZO iA with moulded inserts

Hi Ed.

I was happy leaving the specialist but when I got home my left hearing aid was off. My specialists office was closed by then.

So I ….tried….. to solve my problem myself

It’s half solved. My ENZOs are paired.

I erased the APP and reinstalled it.

I can’t set up the APP.

I HAVE THE APP installed. The APP recognized the aids are paired.

Hi Dave,

Not really sure what you are experiencing. Let me just state the steps for 1st time connection. With an iPhone, choose: Settings, Accessibility, Hearing Device. Turn On HA's, wait for iPhone to recognize and display the name, and press pair now. Your HA's should be paired. Put them back in the charging dock.

Next, bring up ReSound Smart 3D APP. Bring your HA's out of the dock and place them next to iPhone. The App will take maybe 15 seconds and prompt: Yes, Connect Now. After another 15 seconds it will prompt you to put the HA's back in the charging dock, then prompt you to remove them, and only then will it pair. You will get a prompt: Well Done, Start.

This is overly complicated compared to other HA's I've had, but it does consistently work. Good Luck!

Hearing much better

New ear inserts work better. Feedback is gone

Settings changed. Original setup works now.

APP is working.

@Ed_R1 i finally thought of looking in the box for the”Get Connected” pamphlet

There’s a section “if you need to repair your IOS device. “

It says “TURN YOUR IOS DEVICE OFF AND ON AGAIN AND RE-PAIR THE HEARING AIDS TO THE DEVICE”

Done

And I downloaded the app before I started.

That's great news Dave! One other important thing I found with the Enzo iA, their Microphones are terrible for making phone calls. Ask people you that you talk to. I use the iPhone Mic for telephone calls. Swipe down from top of iPhone, press the Ear symbol, press "Hearing Aids", select "OFF" for Mic Input.

I hope I can learn how to connect to my iPhone and iPad so I can use both together.

Dave, you might want to check that out with ReSound. The HA's will definitely connect with an iPhone OR iPad, but it seems like there might be a conflict if attempting to connect to both at the same time.

@Ed_R1 maybe you can help me with that?

Hey, I know I’m being a pain with this question, but I still haven’t received any support. I wrote directly to Resound, and they replied that it’s not their fault but my audiologist’s, and that he should help me adjust my hearing aids. So here’s my question for you: when someone calls you (a phone call), do you hear the caller’s voice only after three seconds? This question is mainly for iPhone users.

I have an iPhone 17. I haven't really experienced what you describe. On an incoming call, I will get a Beep in my HA's less than 1 second before the phone rings. When I answer, normal communications. If you have a delay, probably a Bluetooth issue with iPhone or HA's.

I had trouble with the setup when I got my ENZO iA hearing aids. I got help here. My iPhone 12 is new to me.

There’s a pamphlet in the box the hearing aids came in. It’s in the lid.

I had paired my hearing aids to the iPhone without reading these notes.

In the section on pairing the last comment it says to turn the phone off then on again and then follow the instructions for pairing. I hope this helps.
