If you were looking at trialing a pair of Audeo Eon Sphere E90-R Spheres what other hearing aids would you trial for comparison?

I am currently looking at having a trial of a pair of Audeo Eon Sphere E90-R

Has anyone trialed Audeo Eon Sphere E90-R and settled for something else, or do I just have a trial of these? Having read the feedback they do sound amazing!

I am struggling to find any other aids that I feel is worthwhile having a trial of at the same time. But I don't want to waste the opportunity of trailing a different pair I might not have considered that might compare well?

Suggestions welcome! 😊

I am currently fitted with a trial pair of Sphere E90's.

I looked at other current (new) models from other manufacturers & spoke to a couple of local audiologists about new model comparisons for my hearing loss. The advice was (as a current Phonak user) to stick with Phonak & go for the Sphere E90's, especially for speech comprehension in noisy environments & connectivity. - Your hearing loss is different & could give rise to different advice/outcomes.

So far I am very impressed with the E90's. Sound quality is good (& very 'familiar' to a Phonak user), noise suppression in noisy environments is excellent with good speech clarity. Connectivity is excellent (as expected forPhonak), hands free phone calls, streaming from phone or Win11 laptop, TV connector & Roger On.

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply and letting me know about your experience, and I am thinking along the same line as you! I can't see anything being better where speech clarity and noise suppression is concerned.

Thanks for replying! Sadly I wouldn't qualify as yet via the UK's National Health Service for 's and the cost is way beyond my means.

My audiologist had me trial both the new Resound Sensias and the Eon Sphere 90s.

Performance-wise, the Sensias were fine, and yet, I did not find they did much for me in a loud restaurant/bar location. I loved the size of the Sensias, and the connectivity to iPhone was solid.

The Eons have been excellent. Over several noisy events (think wedding reception, bar, cocktail party in echo-y space), I can nearly always hear the person I'm talking with and still hear the surrounding noise - as if everyone was speaking louder over the noise in a way. I've been very pleased with how they perform!

I am having a challenge on getting the streaming adjusted to eliminate some static and feedback, which may be the bluetooth/phone (my phone also needs an upgrade). I'm not a big streamer, so not a huge issue for me.

My previous aids were Phonak Lumity 90s - my audiologist also said staying on the same platform is a smoother adjustment.

I didn't do a lot of research as I am currently waiting for my a knee and both shoulders replacing, but this ruled me out.....

Here we only started treating the ears separately for adults maybe six or seven years ago. If you had one functional ear you were out of luck. Happy that this has changed.
