Hi, I'm a newbie and have mild hearing loss in one ear. I recently tried an over-the-ear hearing aid (Oticon) and had it adjusted twice for background sound. With every step I take, I hear my long hair brushing against the aid. I decided that I would wait until next year to get a hearing aid, as I know my hearing loss will be more pronounced by then. I was recommended an Oticon Zeal, which fits in my ear rather than an over-the-ear hearing aid.
Has anyone else had this problem with their hair, glasses, etc., creating a near-constant noise? If so, what do you recommend to address it? Would the Oticon Zeal provide a quieter experience? Thanks
