Tried it and it works great. Two problems. You need to select audio out as a preference and the sound ONLY comes out in your aid.Turns off the unit speaker.
Second, you need to be carefull of the wire to the unit. Needs to be long enough and you need to watch that you don’t get it tangled with your steering wheel.

I finally got a chance to go out to BestBuy and take a look at the GPS units with Bluetooth.
All the feature does is allow the GPS speaker to output audio from the cellphone. You are supposed to put the cellphone in a shirt pocket so it can act as a microphone.
This is supposed to be a poor man’s hands-free set up I guess.
I think I would just get a Bluetooth head set to pair to the cellphone.

In any case it is of no use with my Resound Phone clip.

Did they let you try and pair the clip to a unit ?

I just got a Jabra A7010 and paired it to the phone clip (I understand it’s a headset)
at first I was pressing the little button under the end cover… wrong
had to hold the multi button (on the side) to pair it

Yep I tried - no joy.
The GPS units just act like a speaker for the cell phone. Not a very useful function IMHO.
