I think when they did a similar trial with Sennheiser R that it was about a 6 month trial so that would be my guess. So hopefully soon but it’s only a guess. Anybody hear how the aids are being accepted? It’s possible that Costco declines to carry them.

Not an answer to the question but I thought I would let those interested know that the SoundGear app does not have yet. According to SG, they are waiting for Costco approval. Supposedly it will happen sometime in April and will be version 6.0 of the app.

I went back for my fitting follow up a few days ago so I am almost 2 months in. I was expecting that they would have discussed possibly increasing my amplification but when I asked about it they said it was set to do that automatically over two months from my fitting. So far I am very happy with the Amps. is not perfect but is better after updating to iOS 26.4.1 (just upgraded to .2). The battery life is awesome. I do a lot of streaming of music (when too lazy to put in my airpods or other IEM’s I have) and audiobooks. I never come close to running out of charge. I have been in a few noisey situations and when needed I use Edge + and it works well. I did have some trouble with one of my nephews who tends to mumble but other than that no complaints. Do I occasionally have to ask my wife to repeat herself, yes but only occasionally.
My only concern is whether SoundGear (Starkey) is going to update the app and I guess the firmware to allow use of . Not sure of any public places that offer Auracast near where I live but want it to use a device for the TV and some other possible uses. Short of them not upgrading the app and firmware, these are keepers.

I’ve only had them for three days but so far they’re great. Mine are and very comfortable. The only issue I have is that streaming from my phone even at the very lowest level is louder than I’d like. There are controls in the app for the streaming volume level but they’re turned off right now. I’ll have to go back and have them correct this. I will say that the sound is very natural and much better than my Tru Hearing behind the ear aids I’m replacing.

Thank you both for the reviews. There are not many reviews on the Soundgear. Hopefully Soundgear (Starkey) will update the app so can be used.

$1999 at my North Carolina Costco. I believe the prices are the same at all Costco locations, but I had to type more to meet the minimum number of characters. It wouldn’t accept just the price!

Soundgear Amp APP was just updated this morning to version 6.1.2.
Not sure what the update does yet haven’t read it.

Just did a search on Gemini and it stated the following about the app update.
The update to version 6.1.2 for the My SoundGear app3 primarily focuses on expanding connectivity features and refining the user experience for SoundGear AMP hearing aids.
Key improvements in the 6.0 and 6.1 series include:
™ Assistant Integration: This feature allows your hearing aids to connect directly to public Auracast™ broadcasts in venues like airports, theaters, and gyms.
Google Fast Pair Support: For Android users, this enables a “single-tap” pairing process that automatically detects nearby devices to simplify setup.
Performance Stability: The update includes “under-the-hood” stability improvements to ensure more reliable Bluetooth streaming and app responsiveness.
Enhanced Control: Refined equalizer and volume adjustments, allowing for more precise sound customization in challenging listening environments.

I usually check every morning but didn’t get to it today. Thanks for this update, great news. I’m off to update. Do we need a firmware update to the Amps for the to work?

I really don’t know. I assume it came from Starkey all ready to go and was waiting on Costco.
If you have an broadcast device maybe you can share how well it works or not.

I have 4 to try and so far none show up in my streaming options. It could be operator error so I sent an email to customer service to see if I can get an answer. Also, I do not see any change in the equalizer settings but again, might be me.

The info on the equalizer came from . So may or may not be true.
The Soundgear App had no information at all what the new version did.
