Anyone have a copy of Widex Compass?

Welcome to the forum, yeah sometimes the clinic doesn’t get enough time to set things up correctly, doing a bit of can usually help get things sorted,4.4 is suitable for the Moments, you’d get a pop up telling you if there was some kind of issue if it was firmware or something, and yes for some people 4.4 is not getting updates, no problem tho.

I’m on 4.8 now, and I still have the same connection issue. I also updated my Noahlink Wireless firmware to v2.25, using the software found here:

Anyone else solve a similar connection issue recently?

Kaiser Hearing Center Santa Clara can’t see me for another week, so hopefully will work for me sooner. They were working fine before the adjustment.

Yeah as I thought, not really the software version as such, going and updating everything not always the way forward, gotta try and find the actual issue before doing all of this sometimes, so got the screenshots of the error message, seems to me just a simple shut down of your PC and restart to begin with, open Widex compass click on your client and THEN plug the Noahlink wireless in and click connect, of course be sure that your your are in pairing mode, you only get 2 or 3min as well.

Yes, thanks - this was working fine before the adjustment and fresh Windows install (Win 11 24H2).

I tried all of the above in Compass GPS 4.4 and the 2.19 NLW firmware, rebooting, connecting in sequence. Then, 4.8 and 2.25.

Can you roll back the win11 install? One other thing, are you getting the green led flash when you first connect the Noahlink wireless?
Also is it flashing when trying to connect or just “nothing” check what you have connected in Device Manager.

Thanks! Connecting to the Airlink 2 wasn’t a problem…and the lights were both flashing. The main symptom was that the showed up in the Connect dialog, but then would disappear after a second or two.

I tried again with my laptop (same Win 11 version). Same result until the 4th reboot, then I managed a connection and ran the feedback test.

Things improved, but I can tell the tuning for the left has a high-frequency bias as compared to the right that didn’t exist before the last adjustment. It’s more on the hairy edge of feedback, but tolerable for now. I have an appt with another audiologist and will ask her about that.
