Phonak WhistleBlock Problem

My Audi in May, increased just my left (he only plugged my left in) WhistleBlock to max but didn’t touch my right.

Eversince, when he plugs me in and loads me up, it comes up with a note saying problem with WhistleBlock (haven’t actually read the whole thing). He just clicks okay.

When he looks on what my WhistleBlock is for my Automatic program, it says strong (very max).

What I’m wondering is whether my right is not actually at strong but it is actually what is was before (moderate, I think) that’s why the note always comes up when he plugs me in everytime. It appears just before the warning comes up stating my is above 132db.

Or would it of put my right to strong, the next time he plug both my in (which he has pligged both in since) I’m thinking my Naidas are confused with the WhistleBlock.

I know my other program is set to strong so if I get the same amount of feedback on both program’s, does that tell me, that my automatic WhistleBlock is set to strong?

I can’t answer your question but the mention of whistle-block prompts me to ask: what does it block? wind noise? my wife’s breathing when she sleeps(kidding)? I have it activated but I don’t know if its working.

It’s feedback caused my sound escaping from your ear and going back into the mics on my .

There is another feature called WindBlock for wind :slight_smile:

I don’t like the fact they are called ‘Blocks’ as in my opinion, they don’t block, just reduce.

hi,yes i would agree that they dont stop the feedback just reduce it,as for windblock its a very poor joke indeed!for me anyway my naida sp are just unusable outside!even the slightest bit of wind is like a fog horn,iv just starting to get ready to program my own aids from now on, so ill be looking for a lot of help on this,but over all have been happy with them,the best thing that they have is sound recover as im down to 120db at 3000hz so that one works great for me.
