ComPilot II connect to Windows 7 bluetooth

Laptop: Dell Latitude E6430s
Bluetooth adapter: Dell Wireless 380 Bluetooth 4.0 module
Windows 7 64-bit

After reading a lot of info here and elsewhere on the internet, and spending all day yesterday trying to fix the damn thing lol, I finally got my ComPilot II to pair up with my Dell laptop ---- and it’s AWESOME!!

I just went to the Dell support site and downloaded the most recent Bluetooth driver (imagine that)

I had spent hours doing the Windows Media Center thing, install Broadcom driver, etc etc ---- no joy.

But the newest Dell driver fixed me up lickety split.

So if you’re having the same issues I was having - before you try all that Windows Media Center gobble-dee-gook make sure you have the latest Bluetooth driver for your computer.

So when you pair to your laptop via blutooth. Does your aids switch to a full streaminng mode that does not bring in any surrounding sounds?
Meaning you only hear what is streamed from your computor?
I just got fitted with new Phonak Brio’s and I find that when I listen to any blutooth streaming, I don’t recieve any other input at the same time.

yes, or so it seems to me - only thing I hear is the laptop.

I think this is a setting in the program options of the streaming program of the bluetooth audio. Please check with your audi.

I have been told that the compilot could connect to a bluetooth enabled TV set without using a TV link. Do you have any relative experience?
