Dome sizes and HA brand dome interchangebility

The dome is attached to the receiver. As far as I’ve noticed all brand tested by me (Signia ,Oticon, Resound, Unitron) used the same receivers (one size P, two size XS and most M). Since the dome attach to the receiver I’m pretty sure they will fit to your HA. On the other hand you must find a dome appropiate to your ear canal (dome size in mm).

I’m using my Signia with some spare Oticon’s domes, I like the Oticon domes, they fit better in my ear canal.

At the image you’ll find the Phonak domes (5mm, 7mm, 10mm), other brands uses other sizes (4mm, 6mm, 8mm). Sizes in mm, 8mm ~1/3in

Details matter with stuff like this. There are two different “kinds” of Phonak receivers and domes–SDS3 and SDS4. The link in my post shows the SDS4 domes and both kind of receivers.

What kind of Signia hearing aids do you have? Current Signia aids use Click Domes and Click Sleeves. I tried Oticon domes on them and it came off in my ear.

I just bought a phonak lumity device, and my audiologist recommends power domes for my type of audiogram. the problem is that, when I fix domes in my ears, I have the sensation of a clogged ear. to get rid of this feeling, I have to take them outside very little. at the same time, I hear the words quite clearly but a bit strongly, which sometimes tires me. the audiologist insists that they are the most suitable for my hearing loss, but I don’t feel comfortable. From what I read on the internet, I saw that the power domes are for severe loss. what could I do to change this situation? thank you for any answer.

You could try custom made molds with vents, they would suit your situation, and a perfect fit,
Closed domes is another,but not as good as molds.
