DIY - Self Programming, How to Find Fitting Software

I have a pair of Phonak m90-r’s which belonged to my mother, she has only had them a year and the support has run out and in my home city the cheapest i can find to reprogram them is over £500. Is there anyone out there that can put me in the right direction for the Target software. I have already purchased the Wi-Fi gadget thingy , Thanks in advance

If you know what you bought and it’s the correct programming device that’s good. Otherwise a wasteful mistake.

There is no such thing as “noahlink wifi”. Perhaps you mean Noahlink Wireless?

The Noahlink Wireless hearing aid programming device uses Bluetooth Low Energy/ wireless protocol and not Wi-Fi/wireless network protocol. My apoligies if this comes-across as arrogantly nit-picking about using the correct device name. But occasionally, newbies do purchase the old/almost obsolete programming device named NOAHlink, instead of the Noahlink Wireless device they are seeking. See the difference in the images below;

Can you explain something to me.

Unitron hearing aids have a different concept of operation. They can have a premium chip and all the extras but in the end it is activated through an upgrade. The smallest upgrade is the lower price and the largest is the most expensive price. And basically it’s all the same hardware.

The question for you is, how do they protect themselves from the misuse of that technology? For example, if I buy the cheapest level (Unitron hearing aid) unit and I buy the hardware and software myself, what prevents me from upgrading myself to the most expensive level?

If you have the hardware and software you can upgrade to any level on a trial basis. Aids will work for many weeks and then start beeping to remind you the trial is running out. Then you can reset them to their default level, or start another trial period. My wife has Unitron MoxiAll aids. For her use she couldn’t tell any difference between the default level and the highest level so I put them back to the default after a couple of trial periods.

I understand. So if the necessary equipment is available, then the trial period can be repeated indefinitely? And how can this be done permanently and without extra charge. is there any cheat key or something?

By the way, what exactly was the upgrade for your wife?

Hello, i am looking for a link to the Phonak Target software. I would also appreciate any remarks on how to interface with my hearing aids. The info is quite confusing, but in general, zome dedicated hardware is required A Hi-Pro for older Phonaks, a iCube for more recent ones. But what I fail to understand is the following. Since the more elaborate Phonaks all have Bluetooth connectivity, why is there a need for a more complicated interface, using Bluetooth? Any help is appreciated, thanks, Henkie

No limit on number of trials as far as I know. No charges, no keys or anything like that required. I upgraded my wife’s aids to the highest level available.

Could I get a link for Phonak Target software. I have a new set of Paradise aids and would like to change some settings. I have a Noahlink Wireless adapter that I used for my Oticon OPN1s…

Hi folks! Two weeks into my size 13 battery brio 4s with ear molds. I am famous amongst the Costco fitters, they always block two appointments for me.
Despite their best efforts, and immense patience with my requests to try different settings, I always find myself wanting something else fine tuned.
Long story short, could someone please PM me a link for Phonak Target 6.0.1 or even better the latest version? I plan on getting a Noahlink wireless soon and would love to run some trial fittings before my next Costco appt

Hi everyone - I would appreciate a link to the Phonak Target 6.x or higher programming software to set up some Marvel 70Rs I have coming. These will hopefully replace some fairly ancient Audeos I programmed with iPFG back in the day. I have a NoahLink Wireless on its way.
