I wonder if I am the only one that so far is not as crazy as I thought I would be about the concept of speaking and hearing phone calls through my hearing aids.
I’m sure you aren’t the only one, but you aren’t representative of all of us. So far the phone calls through the aids is the thing I’m most taken with about my KS9s. Before aids at all, my difficulty in hearing phone calls had caused me to avoid speaking on the phone whenever I could. Generally, anyone leaving a voice mail message was wasting their time because I couldn’t make heads or tails of it, and my phone doesn’t allow a custom message: “Don’t leave a voice mail. Send a text!”
When I got the Rexton Trax 42s, using that bluetooth setup worked wonders, but I disliked wearing the transmitting medallion so much most of the time I’d be telling callers I’d call them back (and then hurry to pair things up), and it was one more thing to keep charged and seemed half the time not to be.
So the way the KS9s handles phone calls is - freeing. But I don’t use Alexa and have never had my phone on speaker.
