Thanks for checking! I appreciate it.
I used the middle line from the Costco L & R charts for this Forum’s but am just curious as to what Costco’s uppermost and lower lines mean.

Message sent, Nate. Check your inbox. Also, there are NoahLink Wireless units on eBay right now for $189. Sheepskinfarms is the seller. I recommend this seller.

Two questions regarding KS9’s:
- I’m currently using Signia Pure 7NX, essentially the same as KS8. Can anyone comment on KS9 performance vs KS8, who’s tried both? @Sierra, didn’t you post something a couple of months ago about KS9 vs KS8?
- With Marvel 2.0 not being available (yet?), how significant is the improved Bluetooth connectivity for an Android device?
Thanks, in advance

The KS9 would allow you to stream directly from an android phone to the hearing aid. Your Signias require a Streamline Mic to do so. I would think with the Streamline Mic, the Signias would have equal, if not better connectivity than the KS9s. Signias would not require the Streamline Mic to be used with iPhones.

rdboukes Thanks for explaining different programs and will be getting the aids this week so will start with automatic but good to know what to ask for possibly in follow ups…it does seem the tech will adjust some people’s automatic program itself based on data that’s tracked but nice to have additional choices.

Indeed, I do use a Streamline Mic and I’ve never had a connectivity issue. Thanks for your feedback.

I have a Kirkland 9.0 and I use the Easy Line Remote app. When I can get it paired with my Galaxy it works as it is designed with the Volume, auto, noise, and streaming settings–However I would like it to give me the options to tweak the freq settings, noise floor settings so I do not have to make a 120 round trip visit to Cosco every time to do this–I have been there 4 times since I have had this HA in 5 -6 weeks–still not right–Also does anyone have a pdf or some info of what the audiologist can set on these units so I can tell him/her on my next visit please try this or that? a point in question on my last visit I told the audiologist my streaming of apps (i heart…ex) was low low volume–She went to a drop-down and voila low steaming volume -do this and it was fixed!!! --I am sure other things have easy fixes that they are overlooking–Thanks for any input you can provide

I have both ks8 and ks9. I have posted a few times above about my preference. I am going to keep the ks9 and return the ks8. It is just my personal preference. Your mileage may very.
I am also very far from a costco. There is one opening next year that will be only 100 miles away. LOL My work around for that is to order a programmer for myself. I hope the learning curve is not too long.

I’d encourage finding the software first and see what you think instead of investing in a programmer first.

If you research the Phonak Audeo M90 aids with the 312 batteries that will give you a good idea of how the KS9 aids can be adjusted and what features they have. The KS9 aids do not have the tinnitus feature or the new Phonak Marvel 2.0 firmware update. The aids are very sophisticated and can be adjusted hundreds of ways.
It would help your fitter if you could take notes about the good and bad things with your aids. Include the environment or settings you are in at the time. The fitter is not a mind reader, you really need to help them understand what you are hearing. This is the best way to get your aids exactly like you want.
Good luck.
