Yes SmartFit 1.18 runs fine on Windows 7. You get a warning that it’s not recommended but just go ahead and do the install.
Edit: I think this may be incorrect advice as I see the installation notes have changed between 1.17 and 1.18

This is great and much thanks!. I won’t be able to install it until this evening, but I will.
As best as I can hear the Nexia needs +1 at 250, and maybe a -1 at 80db at 4K.

Actually I notice they now say windows 7 isn’t supported by SmartFit 1.18 whereas 1.17 was just not recommended for windows 7.
I haven’t actually tried 1.18 on windows 7 so I may be misleading you. Let us know what you find please.

Apologies for the wrong advice.
Updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is not straightforward. For a start the machine may not support Windows 10 and you may find that some drivers that you need are simply not available. Also Windows 10 needs a new licence from MS, you can’t just run some updater software. You can probably run a MS test which will tell you whether your laptop meets the hardware requirements for Windows 10, but you then would need to do some googling and find whether the manufacturer thinks the laptop supports Windows 10.
I would look on eBay to buy a Windows 10 licence which should come with a download link (maybe you could buy an installation CD, but your laptop may not have a CD drive.)
Ultimately if it were me, I would certainly buy a laptop with windows 10 on it. You can probably get a pre-used one. Do be aware though that some of the more recent laptops that have an ARM processor don’t support NoahLink Wireless.

Hello everyone! It seems that I managed to adjust Resound one and I’m starting to get used to the natural sounds. I have a small question if it is possible, before when I had resound Linx3D, if I talk on the phone (it had the phone now program) and I adjusted the volume so that I don’t hear noise around me and after the conversation ends, the volume returns to the Music program, but Resound One doesn’t have phone now, but Streaming and the problem is that the volume is not saved when I talk on the phone and I should do it manually, that is, to enter the Smart3D application, to lower the volume so that I don’t hear noise around me and to be able to hear more clearly when I’m talking on the phone. Do you know how to save the volume when I’m talking on the phone and have it automatically saved? Thank you and we hear each other well!!!

One question. The hardware requirements for the smart fit software shows a DVD-ROM. Do you really need that?

Welcome to the forum, great your giving a go it’s all pretty easy enough, don’t forget you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device and do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.

I am in the same boat looking for the Resound software compatible with my soon-to-arrive Jabra EP 20 and Noahlink programmer. (New here, accidentally started a new topic on this)

Yeah it’s usually country dependant some of these updates, i just wait until it notifies you, I find just opening and then closing the software and then rebooting the PC also helps.

Hello, I am looking for Resound SmartFit fitting Software. Can someone please share the download link?

Actually I think Resound has changed the way the update works. So on each major point release, the update function in SmartFit will ensure you are notified if there is an update of that release, which GN Resound call SmartFit 1.xy update 1 or very rarely update 2. The update function in SmartFit doesn’t seem since two or three point releases back to notify you of a new point release.
So you have to go and download SmartFit again to get a new point release. But you can just install over what is already there as long as it’s not actually running.
At least this is how it works for me.
