New member here. I have been using America Hears home programmable for 15 years but needed more modern aids, as I am on the edge of needing cochlear. Got Resound Nexia 9 with size 13 replaceable batteries and earmolds. Working with Mayo Clinic great audi but is 100 miles away and remote is hard for testing the results for her. I think I will be better off doing the fine tuning, particularly directionality, myself as I have done in the past. She did in situ on my old aids and said the programming was nearly spot on, which surprised, me so should be mainly learning the software and using my normal way of tuning.
It looks like I will need the Smartfit software ver 1.18 sent to me if this is the proper place to do that. I will get the Noahline Wireless 2 from Amazon so I can get started.
Should I expect to run into anything on the aids that is password protected and unaccessible?
This looks life a great place for information.

Hi there, great your giving a go, since you’ve done this before I’m sure you’ll find it easy enough, nothing in SmartFit or the Nexia are locked and yes you’ll have everything “accessible”

New member on this forum. I’m getting the Costco Jabra Enhance Pro 20, and want to be able to program them myself. I have a background in Audio and sound reinforcement, and I think that trying the SmartFit software will be a good fit. Can someone send me link to the SmartFit software? Also, I’d like to take a stab, if possible, in reprogramming my old Costco KS5’s (also a GN product). Any thoughts on doing this? Is it possible to do the KS5’s remotely, or is it wired only?
Thanks in Advance

Welcome to the forum, great your willing to give a go it’s all pretty easy enough but do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, don’t forget you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device for any DIY projects, as for KS5 no show unfortunately, locked out for DIY.

I purchased a Linx2, but the store set it up with the wrong . Setting up doesn’t look difficult, so I ordered Noahlink. Please, can you send me a link to the software in PM?

Welcome to the forum, great your giving a go, and as you noticed it’s not too hard to do, but do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.

You will need to use Aventa 3 rather than SnartFit as SmartFit only fits LINX 3D and later. But both are in the single download.

Hi! new member here. Could I get a link to the smart fit software via PM? following the school documents but doesn’t look like it actually provides the download links. I’ll be buying the Noahlink device as well here soon. So far I’ve been working very closely with my audiologist for getting my nexia hearing aids well set up and she has been pretty generous showing me all the settings in the software, but at this point I’m wanting to make more incremental changes to dial it in. Changing settings in her quiet office doesn’t give a great environment to make real progress without a lot of appointments.

Welcome to the forum, great your giving a go, it’s all pretty easy enough, don’t forget the Noahlink wireless programming device for your DIY projects, Aventa is for older models, but anyways SmartFit has this built-in.

Hi all,
I’m new to the forum but not to hearing aids, have worn them for nearly 20 years now from Oticon, Phonak and now Danalogic, all on the NHS.
I’m currently on the Ambio 98, my NHS trust is great but unfortunately never give enough time for fine tuning.
I was wondering if anyone is kind enough to send me a link for the Smart Fit software and possibly a code to get around NHS hearing aids?
I’ve also looked for the guides but haven’t found them, so if there is a place for them I’d appreciate it.
Many thanks.
