Phonak introduces Naída Paradise

The links on original post are now working. Here’s pretty detailed info: https://www.phonakpro.com/content/dam/celum/product-information-brochure-naida-p/PH_Product_Information_Brochure_Naida_P_210x280_EN_V1.00_027-0623-02.pdf28

Here’s some info on the Roger On microphone that was announced with the Naida Paradise.
Looks like it will be available in Summer. Talk about confusing names! There’s a Roger On iN version and a non iN version! Presumably the non iN versiion does not come with built “receiver licenses.” https://www.phonakpro.com/content/dam/celum/datasheet-roger-on-in/PH_Datasheet_Roger_On_iN_210x297_EN_V1.00_10.pdf13

I’ll add that this (Roger On) seems to be blending features of Roger Select and Roger Pen into one device. It adds the pointing ability of the Roger Pen to the features of the Select. It also claims “Multibeam 2.0” technology which is presumably an improvement over the older version. It has 4 microphones compared to the Select’s 3. Have no idea what price will be like, but I’m guessing in the $1000 to $1500 range, possibly even higher. Oh, it uses USB-C connector for charging.

The PR has the Tap feature and is rechargeable. Full info is now available on original post or on my recent posts on this thread.

SP

I can’t see the SP Naida! There’s only a Naida Rechargable which has less fitting range and a Naida UP in the Paradise range.

the size is not significantly large, I think it is better to buy the UP version because it lasts longer.
I when I compared UP and SP Naida Q, I noticed that it is just wider down where the battery is and everything else remained almost the same. I think you will be more grateful if you buy the UP version because your battery will last longer.

I’m not buying either. They’re really two different aids. The rechargeable one has considerably less power, is notably smaller and has the tap feature. The UPs are, well they’re UPs: big, powerful aids for those that could likely benefit from cochlear implants.

Hey! I’m trying to get my audiologist to order them in here in the U.K. With that is anyone aware of the prices of these?

Regards

I’m pretty sure Specsavers have their own brand Phonak which are only equal to the Marvel and not the Paradise as of yet!

A pair of Paradise 90 was quoted to me in Québec, Canada at 8,800 $CAD.
I am still waiting for a quote on Naida Paradise P90 UP / 675.

I started a trial of the P-PR earlier this week. I love the sound, but they don’t seem to be appropriate for my loss when I look at the fitting range. They were presented to me as super power aids.

Thank you! Is the technology for the Naida M SP pretty similar? I’m enjoying the clarify in speech and streaming. I know it has a battery, no tap feature and more restrictive Bluetooth connections but those don’t bother me.

From reading members reviews of both Marvel and Paradise aids I would say very similar. The AutoSense 4 has been said to be a touch better on the Paradise aids.
The Costco Brio 4 is almost a Phonak Marvel Naida SP with no tinnitus feature. Really good money saver with great service usually.

I pick up my Naida Paradise 90’s UP BTE 13’s on the 15th of March as yet the 675’s are unavailable as here in the UK… I returned the Paradise 90’s RIC’s within the 60 days, they are nice aids but not quite enough oompah for my loss, hopefully these will be better given my severe/profound threshold… We shall see? Cheers Kev

@kevels55

I don’t think Phonak have released a Paradise BTE aid that uses size 13.

It’s either the rechargeable Naida or the Naida UP which uses 675 batteries.

EDIT - according to this, the only aid that uses size 13, is the Marvel SP still.
