Phonak introduces Naída Paradise

Thank you Zebras… I did ask for the 675 version and my Audiologist said she was unable to find this, I most definitely requested the UP and not the rechargeable version BTE! I will email the Audi on Monday, most likely crossed wires somewhere along the line. Cheers Kev.

Checking to see if I can trial the Marvels. It’s a bummer because the P-PR aids have the clearest and best quality sound I’ve ever heard (just missing volume) It’s been a while since I enjoyed listening to music this much. Guess it’s the trade off you make for power. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised though!

Which receivers?

I have severe/profound and currently have Audeo Paradise P90R with UP receivers and are plenty strong enough for me

Hi Zebras, I emailed my Audi last night and she replied with with confirmation that they are indeed 675 batteries… also an apology first thing this morning an extract copy/paste from said email; “I apologise for any confusion I may have caused you, but I was rather confused myself. The hearing aids are here now I am just waiting for Starkey to send me the moulds and I will be good to go.” I should be fitted first thing next week, so all is good. Cheers Kev

Thank you Zebras, I am sure I will do absolutely fine with the Nadia’s… As for colour, that wasn’t discussed, but I am assuming they will be silver as any order in the past have been. In all truth, I don’t really care what colour they are, they are going to be larger than what I have worn recently, I would ware neon pink if they work I will let you know how I get on with the Naida P UP BTE’s and post up a review… cheers Kev

Silver is good. My night time aids are silver. (I listen to the radio at night.) My daytime aids go in a Dry & Store a night which is why I have two sets of aids.

Thank u Zebras, I will be most fortunate to have a spare set of Marvel’s 90’s with 2 newish sets of custom UP (Ultra Power receivers) as backup aids for the Naida P UP’s, I also have a spare set of newish custom moulds for the Naida P’s… Tis many years since I used a dry and store box, my last one packed in, I bought a new one but it remains unused, twas a cheapish Chinese version and I was frightened I might fry my aids Cheers Kev

Yes, a while back I had two sets of Naida Venture aids, one set SP and the other UP. Wearing each was very noticeably different. The UP aids were borderline hurtful though I got used to them. This is why I would like to see UP power in a size 13 battery hearing aid. Personally I would rather change batteries every 4-5 days and be comfortable than uncomfortable changing 675 batteries every couple weeks.

I believe these newest 675 battery Naida aids will be much better and comfortable than previous Naida aids. The Marvel Naida SP aids are also really nice if they have the power one needs.

I believe Raudrive, 14% smaller and 27% lighter than the previous Nadia Belong, according to Dr Cliff assessment/review, which will hopefully make them much more comfortable… Cheers Kev

Is that pricing before or after any provincial insurance / employer insurance?

I’m interested myself in a pair.

This is the net price for me. I am not covered by insurance for those. No tax either. So 8.8k out of my pocket.
