Widex Moment 440 RIC entrainment?

Hello to all. I currently use Widex moment 440 REC hearing aids. Is there anything else I can do to enhance speech clarity either using the app, or even a do it yourself adjustment? My specific issues are in say, a car, or other loud setting. Any thoughts you have are appreciated.

have you tried the Widex MySound AI in the Moment App?

I have used that feature but either I’m doing something wrong or it is not very good, I select enjoy conversation in the menu and it is a little better but nothing earth shattering. Am I missing something I don’t think ow wides has something like a sphere mode like the phonak infinio sphere’s.

No, the Widex Moment does not have anything similar to the Phonak’s Spheric program. The Moment platform was released in 2020: at that time, features like Phonak Spheric programs weren’t developed yet.

Widex’s philosophy is to keep sound as pure and natural as possible, so noise reduction isn’t something they specifically claim to offer. It also depends on the type of domes you’re using.

There’s probably not much more you can do through the app. Your audiologist can add a car program, known as a Transport Program in Widex. You could also set this up yourself using the programming software and a device called Noahlink, which we refer to as DIY in this forum.
