Serious connectivity problems, Oticon More trial

An update. I have returned the Widex Moments and am back again with the Oticon More aids, plus ConnectClip. Plus I have replaced my Android with an iPhone. The difference is dramatic. I am not having any of the interruptions I was previously experiencing.
The direct streaming is working well. The streaming from my Macbook Air via the ConnectClip is working well.
I also got an Apple Watch, and am puzzling overy various aspects of that. I may have more to say on that later.
All in all, I am very pleased. I really like the More aids. Putting them on/in gave me the same feeling of brightness and happiness that I felt when I first got hearing aids. I think the open world nature of the More aids is what does that - just plain hearing more.

If I remember correctly, @cvkemp (Chuck) wears an Apple Watch and uses it with his Oticon OPN S, which is the predecessor of the More. I think he’s getting the More 1 later, too. If you have any question about using the Apple Watch with your More, he may be able to help you out.

I have a Samsung Note 8 Android phone and an iPhone 7 Plus and both work fine with my OPN 1, the Note 8 via the ConnectClip, of course. Maybe it’s the Bluetooth implementation of your Android phone like you said. Glad you’re flexible enough to switch to an iPhone to make it work better with the More.

@decklife: I’m sending you best wishes that you may enjoy the same great performance from your Oticon More hearing instruments as I’m enjoying with mine.

Regarding the Apple Watch, it is not streaming a phone call directly but rather using speakerphone. So I am looking into that.
Of note, I ended up turning off notifications on the Apple Watch because the sound it made was so quiet (and not streaming) that I thought I was not getting my notification alerts at all. I need to research this further. Maybe Chuck @cvkemp could chime in here.
