Crank them up around 7 am, both aids show 100% charge. By 6 or 7 pm the right aid shows 10% and the left shows +/- 25% remaining. Is this drawdown differential normal or should I discuss with my audi?
That’s because your right Aid is the master Aid (uses Bluetooth) and then streams it to the left Aid. Left Aid doesn’t use Classic Bluetooth, only the master Aid.
The master Aid will always drain quicker because Bluetooth uses more battery power.
So 11 or so hours is a reasonable expectation, with maybe 1/2 the time actively streaming? Actually, I have so many tablets and phones attached to it, I think the only time it won’t pick up is when I’m out of the house.
I’m new at this. My Phonak P90R’s came home with me 10 days ago.
First time I used a program so I could hear in a very noisy environment I was alarmed because I had to charge the batteries at around 8 pm. I put them on at 7:30 am that day.
As soon as i figured that out, battery life has been remarkable.
On today at 7:30. Auto mode all day…I boosted the audio by 2 klicks on the app about 10:00 am. I turned it off1/2 an hour ago because of feedback in my right ear using house phone at that ear. It’ almost 8:00 pm now. I have 54% charge right , and 55% left HA. I’m impressed.
I charge them at night, at approximately 11:00 pm. I start wearing them about 7:15 typically a.m.
