Programs for Rexton Bi-Core/Signia Pure

I am getting Rexton Bi-cores at Costco, which is essentially identical to the Signia Pure 7.

Each of these can have 6 programs preconfigured.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of available choices and some description of what each does?

I don’t have any knowledge of what programs can be fitted p, just be aware that you don’t HAVE to full all 6 programs slots.

I have Phonaks and my audiologist said I needed to full all 4 slots that my Phonaks could take, which is WRONG.

Here’s a list for M-Core which I’m guessing is similar

I’d encourage you not to worry about programs at this stage. Try out your hearing aids for awhile and see what situations you need more help with. Then look into programs. The Costco fitter should be able to provide you a list. When I first got hearing aids, I was obsessed with the music programs and then realized for myself I was fine listening to music with automatic. Ideally hearing aids just work. In situations where they don’t, a manually selected program might help.

I am worried about the programs at this stage. I got the Rexton Reach two months ago.
My Costco specialist said the “noise/party” program uses a forward beam focus, similar to the “automatic” program. Except that this one is focused forward. He did not say if the forward beam is a 180 degrees, or 90 degrees or any other specifics. I am looking for specifics.
I would like to have a detailed explanation of what each mode/program does. How is the noise program different than the “outdoor/traffic” program is it forward focused? Is it 360 degree focused, or is it only a boost in volume, or is it only a adjustment on bass and treble. I just cannot find this information anywhere. Rexton website is of no help, anybody?

This type of information is challenging to find. I think your best chance is to get the fitting software and explore for yourself. Check out the section on the forum. Go to categories and scroll down to muted categories. Explore the posts for awhile before asking for software. Get some understanding before asking for favors. Another thing to think about is that for many of us the different programs don’t matter all that much. Good luck.
