This kind of stuff can get complicated–sometimes even coming down to the cell carrier involved. Even manufacturers compatibility sites are not completely accurate and it can change with a firmware or software “upgrade.” Bottom line, if a feature matters to you, confirm it works before committing.

Personally I can’t see myself using full hands free except in very quiet environments. And very seldom will I even need to make a call in those quiet environments

Great to hear and at the same time disappointing that it’s not working here on mine. Did it work right away with the update to the new firmware on the oticons? Anything you could recommend for me to try? My iOS is on 15.3.1 and hearing aids have 1.3.0

I have a couple of thoughts, first forget your aids then reboot the iPhone, then pair your aids to the iPhone again.

I have an iPhone 13Pro and its working seamlessly without any issues right from the start.
I also have an iPad Pro 3rd Gen (2018) and while the press release said this would be supported, its not showing up. I did manage to see the Input Options dialogue box once on the iPad but not available now…
I have re-paired the and force restarted the iPad as @cvkemp suggested without joy yet… Still trying…

Thanks cvkemp, that did the trick!
I can confirm now that it’s working on a SE from 2020.
Audio quality for the calling person is not excellent, it seems a bit like an over acoustic environment, too much reverberance. (When I was actually in a normal and quiet home )
It remains to be seen if it is really a useful addition.

A number you can call is 925.259.0082, it is in HD and will let you really see the full quality of the HD handsets.
Call and walk away from your phone and talk, you should hear it in your ears streaming from your .

There will be pop-up dialogue and at the bottom there are “Input Options”… Automatic, Right, Left or Off which pertain to which microphone in the HAs is used during a Hands Free call.
So what does it mean if I don’t have Input Options at the bottom of this menu? I have Oticon More 2 , firmware 1.4.0, and have an iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 15.7 - which meets all the pre-requisites I’ve read about.

I’ve restarted the iPhone several times, and the are only connected to the iPhone; I don’t have a Connect Clip or TV Adapter. Is there something I need my Audi to do or to check?

Sounds like you have done everything you should do.
And your aids do show to be 1.4.0 in the ON app, and the iPhone does show to be at least IOS15.2 that should be it. I don’t know of anything that the audiologist has to do other then the firmware update. I cannot verify anything for you now seeing my More1 aids when to the Oticon repair lab today.

It is meant for countries like Africa that can’t afford the extras, so it doesn’t have the extras.
@cvkemp:
… Really, Chuck? Or Canada, perhaps? Cuz that’s the getup I’m running.

So it turns out that hands free IS working, despite not having the Input Options menu selection appear. Maybe the need for that selection change with some IOS version or other.
