Connecting Phonak Naida S to Target software

I would like to view the program setting of my Phonak Naida S in the Target software. I want to see if the sound recovery feature is enable. I have a Noahlink wireless, but Naida S does not have Bluetooth. Which equipment do I need in order to connect Naida S to Target software?

You’ll need iCube ll, you can easily use the drop down menu in target to change between the programming device.

How does iCube II connect the Phonak Naida S to the Target software? I remembered that my previous audiologist used to put wire inside the Naida S hearing aids to connect it to computer.

The iCube ll uses bluetooth between the PC only, it comes with its own bluetooth dongle that you plug onto a USB port, you don’t need Bluetooth for this type of wireless programming.
Your Audiology clinic used a HiPro and cables, old school stuff.

Do I need anything else in additional to the iCube II to program the Phonak Naida S IX UP?

A copy of target software, an older copy would work fine, plus just be sure that the iCube ll comes with the factory bluetooth dongle for quick hassle free connection.

You can use a hiPro with appropriate cables. The connections are under a cover between the volume control and the rear microphone. I don’t think that the iCube II is available for sale anymore. There are certain things that can only be done with cable connections such as resetting the device to factory settings if the firmware gets corrupted.

Actually they are easily available on eBay.

You can reset to factory settings, buy you can’t do this if the firmware gets corrupted, after having this happen a few times myself and having to resend to the manufacturer to flash the new firmware.
