Really dig that slot at the bottom of the pack in at the seam between the hard plastic bit on the click dome and the receiver; you’re not going after the silicone bit at all.

If you’re good at brushing them every night, the Signia domes do a pretty good job of keeping debris out of the filters and I find most people don’t have to change them frequently. Honestly, I just tell people to drop by the clinic for click domes–they’re hard.

If I remember correctly, if one can get their fingernails around the hard plastic part, that works pretty well too. On the good side, they are a very secure fit!
