I’m bummed to see that the device you recommend is no longer available … but this is exactly what I’d like for travel with my rechargeable Phonak Lumity Life aids. I would just plug the charging cradle right into a device like this.

YES. And that is typically how I fly cuz it’s just TOO noisy to have them on even with volume lowered.

Only 13 hours of charge? How do you live with that? I work 12-13 hours a day, so need aids that can hold a charge. My bad ear is much worse and I can go 20+ hours (Resound’s). Phonak seems to need to do some catching up in the charging dept

Yep! 13 hrs! I call myself Cinderella with Cinderblock Ears. That’s as good as it gets. I think I may have so little battery life cuz I have the aids connected & paired at ALL times for ANY phone call 24x7. So is active and engaged with my Life aids. I don’t stream more than a couple hours a night with TV.

Even my audi was surprised enough with the low battery time that she mentioned it to Phonak Tech Support. I can’t afford to unpair and/or “Forget” my aids on the phone cuz I get calls now and then and simply need to be streaming from the get-go.

I keep mine connected all day to my phone, my car, and the app. Then at night, connected to my phone, tv streamer and app. Always have 40+% at the end of my 16+ hour day. I suspect in has something to do with Phonak using standard ?

I’m NO techie, but could it be that these Lumity Life aids have Bluetooth multipoint capability built in? It lets me connect & pair to two devices at the same time, so maybe that accounts for some battery drain?

I reply to my own query with a resounding YES having just discovered that the new Life aids do indeed have Bluetooth multipoint capability.

LOVE IT. Now I need to get more comfy using it, as I can pair up to 8 devices as long as I’m only CONNECTED to 2 of them for actual streaming.
