Two Months With Lumity 90 after 3 Years With Marvel 90

You can either have your Audi set up a custom wind program or you can do it yourself in the app by starting with Speech in Noise, turning down high and mid frequencies and volume and saving as a new program. Having your Audi do it would prob be better so that you always can manually switch to Wind program even if you don’t have your phone.

My audiologist already has the wind noise maxxed out.

Got it. I live on a river which gets a ton of wind. I just created a program called Wind, cut the high and mid frequencies by 2/3 and the volume by 1/2 and seems to work for me. Does require the phone though. Thanks!

Curious why you are hearing aid shopping if you have been happy with your current ones for 3 years?

I’m so dependent on my hearing aids I need to have some overlap between newer & older ones, so that I always have a functional backup pair, especially given time to order & fit new aids (getting audiologist appointments too). It’s worth the investment (I am fortunate I can afford it), otherwise I am out of commission for my professional and personal life, family responsibilities, medical care etc. For example, in older aids (Marvels) battery is losing charge after 10-12 hrs/day and I want to get new rechargeable batteries, but that will take 2 weeks turnaround. I also wanted the waterproof (?) improvement of the Lumity for boating, maybe swimming (?) and other outdoor activities in wet weather.
