As I work in a healthcare setting in Wales, every single resident that wears hearing aids, have NHS Danalogic, so I vouch for this. Same as what I have, some models are older. Very few have Phonak, if I am right I am sure I saw one that had Oticon as well but they all look like old models. Which now makes me wonder is that why I am still not hearing clearly enough? Living crisis right now means that getting a pair of private hearing aids is merely impossible, so I have to accept what I have been given, which is better than nothinf at all.

My friend who moved to South Wales a few years ago, actually got issued the Phonak Naida P70 UP from Swansea Hospital yesterday.

She was expecting the Danalogic so was quite surprised.

That is reassuring. I live near Monmouthshire. I am waiting to see what hearing aid upgrade I get. My appointment is next week… I am guessing it will still be the Danalogic.

Yeah got last year, was surprised to have bluetooth connectivity etc, but for sure need to go back and see if can have some things adjusted as for phone calls unless in a quiet room useless really.
I expect as NHS these will need to last 5yrs or more, currently are far more robust than the Resounds and though they said not to get these wet in the manual it says are rated IP forget which one and light rain etc should be ok!
