Does it have to be Ebay? I love the company I got my widex from an online vendor (still trialing), but they don’t sell oticon, which seems to be a bit of a lockout strategy to me.

Oticon, like many major companies, strictly prohibits online sales. That forces an in person hearing test and a comprehensive fitting. cannot be done remotely.
Also, in the US, hearing providers are licensed by the state. Purchasing online from outside the state could be a legally gray area.
By the way, the Oticon Real is their newest flagship aid.

Not sure finding a trial and a do it yourself readily available. Doesn’t sound like something most manufacturer would want to be involved in.

If you google “Oticon Real” you will see some online vendors that offer local fitting in many areas of the country, and have a return policy.
