Also, never to use Beltone, and I still agree with that
Yeah bummer they didn’t work out for you, but I’ve found them to be pretty good, they are exactly the same as ReSound, another good brand that a lot of people have had success with, but this is one of the things about hearing loss and brands, we’re all different and choose what works for us best, whatever they may be ; )

I did place it on this exact thread as a .PDF file.
Sorry about that, see it now.
Your left ear is probably a candidate. Your right might be as well.
Have you considered getting a CI evaluation?

Bad “candidate” for general anesthetic. Coded several times, several surgeries. Besides, at my age, and the fact that this illness is actually killing me (hope that this isn’t TMI) it’s not worth it to me.
But thank you for the suggestion, as always! ![]()

Oh and by the way: That is from 2016 or '17. So I plan to ask for a newer hearing test while I am there ordering the phonak-naida-p90-up aids. I am CONFIDENT that my hearing has gotten far worse; I just keep forgetting to ask for a new hearing test when I go to see my audi friend. When it’s updated, I’ll post it here.

Went to my appt at the Audi yesterday, got a new hearing test. This time I got a printout that was easy to understand and copy into the hearing test page. So it’s now simple for everyone to find. This time, both ears match as my last pretty much had verified anyway (I have to get quarterly MRI and scans on my head for other reasons but the MRIs apparently also cover my ears/hearing. The nerves, maybe? I’ve no idea, and if I was TOLD why, I don’t remember).
I am getting the Naida p90 up aids, it’s going to be two weeks before the aids and the moulds will be ready for pickup. Must say, I’m quite excited.
There were four choices; I thought ‘what the heck’ and went ahead and bought the “Elite” ones. Has the most settings, and maybe one of them if not more will actually help me, although the audi isn’t very confident and told me as much.

Just to let you know, the Phonak Naida Lumity UP aids should be out pretty soon.
The forum is reporting very good speech in noise results with the Lumity platform.

They are rechargeable, however.
I want aids that take batteries that I can change out, myself.
Also, I won’t hear speech. Just what direction from where the speech is coming, so that I may turn and lipread.
Thank you for the suggestion though!

I would expect them to be 675 batteries, not rechargeable batteries.

Well, I guess whomever purchases them will find out
I’ve already cheerfully purchased the Naidas.
But again, thank you!
