Hi all. So for about a week now I have been issues with my hearing aids. One of them keeps turning off, then turns back on again. Earlier this evening, both of them have been turning off, neither switched on for 10 minutes and all of a sudden it turned on and the volume was cranked right up to max which felt like it blew my eardrums out! The tone hook is new, I just swapped it over to a smaller one so cannot be that.
Another time one of them just did not turn on, despite changing the battery then it just decided to work. I am having issues with moisture in the tubes, but it is not terrible (only like a mist), and every night I take the tube off the hook, take the battery out and open the door then I put them into a dry pot to get rid of the moisture… getting ridiculous now though because it keeps kappening.
I am just wondering do I need to send them off for repair? Okay I have residual hearing so could manage for a while, but I really do not want to be without them.

yeah you are right I was very disheartened when they said that they do not have funding for the upper range NHS hearing aids so I have to use what I got for now. I am going to venture in private hearing aids just need to save up for them! Mortgage and everything else going up does not help. Maybe could look into second hand rather than new? Not sure… completely clueless about it all.
