Signia ax5 how to get the bluetooth

we have been talking about my new signia ax5 now for a bit and how to program them and the compression etc. so for the last week or so i have let them ride and working at getting use to them. today i opened the fitting program and connected to them to make a small tweak. and when i saved the session and disconnected i seem to have lost the bluetooth on the right aid. it is on in the phone as the phone says connected. i even unpaired and re paired and it say connected but when i play any games on the phone as that is all i have now that bluetooths to them the right side will not work i take the left aid out of my ears to check and sure enough i don’t hear any sounds when playing games.

so i go back into the fitting program and i do not see anything in the program that turns off the bluetooth. but if i did it seems to me my phone would not connect to them.

so pvc or tenkan or anyone else have a trick up there sleeve i can test out? or did this one finally stop dong bluetooth. thanks

Ok so what I do is unpair from the and use “forget” in android Bluetooth settings.
Next in the app you pair “new” hearing aids, as in go through the complete set up instructions, and then go back to Bluetooth android settings and repair the in there, this should got you up and running.

for my Signia 7s on the Iphone link–not the signia app–there’s an option to stream to the right, left or both aids. maybe look at that?

tenkan that did it. i did unpair them from the phone and then pried them again in the phone but i did not repair them from the app. this time as you said i unpaired them from the phone there was no forget but anyway i then went to the app and used the app to re-pair them and they re-paired in the app and then the phone requested that i accept the pairing so i did and they both work. not if i can remember that procedure.

i do not know what i hit in the fitting app that turned off the right bluetooth. i wasn’t even in the streaming section but it did.

funny thing this morning i was out with the dogs and i kept hearing a chirp in the left ear yes we have peeps out but the right ear did not hear it. i took out the left ear and i still did not hear the peeps, so i was thinking here we go no bluetooth on the right ear and now peeping in the left and nothing in the right so maybe the aids are messing up. but when i put the left ear back in the peeps were gone so that may have been the left ear was just able to hear that high peep and the right ear did not hear it, or the bird flew away. if i did still hear that what i was then going to do was swap them for a bit to see if i could hear the peeps in the right ear and not the left just to test that theory but like i said they stopped.

but thanks for the instructions. i may have figured that out but to save time i asked here and now i know. again thanks

tell me in the connexx fitting program where is the proper save the setting and exit location? is it this pull down save session in the file tab? and then the pop up box where you can add data for this session?

because i do that and then half the time i go back it is not where i left the settings the compression may be off or the last time it turned off one in-situ and used the for that side.

Yeah you can use both, it’s the second picture where you click yes, but your are programmed on the fly, so the change is done instantly, are you sure your opening the right “session”

Edit: there’s also this, but again the HAs are programmed on the fly and shouldn’t need to use it

yes i have the correct session open i know they change on the fly, so when i open the session i use the ha’s for that session so am i looking at it wrong then. i thought that when i opened a session using the ha’s program that the fitting changed to represent that session? and then any changes were saved at that time as i hear some of the changes as i make them. so when i close that session it should go to the fitting program and save all the changes i made during that session correct? so if that is correct then i wonder why when i open it for a small tweak i see some of the changes are not there.
just wondering if i was not saving it correctly. it should not turn off the compression and it should not turn off 1 in-situ when they are coupled. just curious. thanks
