Hello @firenzel ,

i am also aksing you for a downloadlink of oticon genie 2. I already have the necessary hardware devices, bacause i am used to programm my old phonaks by myself but i am trying a pair of oticon now.

Thank you!

Hi there, sure it’s available, but what hardware programming device were you using on your Phonak models, a Noahlink wireless?

Well that’s a great gift! But sure it’s available plus you should check out the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.

Hey tenken thanks again for the download link got my Noahlink today I was able to get it connected to the software but not my Oticon Real 2 aids any tips on updating to the latest version of the Oticon software. I tried the updater in the download but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Yeah you usually just open genie and then shut down your PC, when you start up again you should get a pop up in your system tray that there’s a new update available to download.

Hey @firenzel @tenkan I see you’ve both been helping people with the link for Genie 2 software. Just purchased the Noahlink. Would you mind also sending it to me! Thank you for all the work you both do to help people out!

Hi there, sure it’s available, great your trying out and that you have the Noahlink wireless programming device already, if you haven’t already done so read the user guide as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time.

Hi Tenkan
Downloaded the link you sent for Genie 2 and it would not install on my main computer which has the Genie 2 2016.1 program on it. It goes through the process and near the end says that it could not complete. So thought I’d try it on my laptop and it worked except it’s version 2020.1 and not 2023. Therfore it only has up to the Otico Opens ’s and not my Real2’s. (OTG20_121467). Please advise

Hi again, easy enough to sort just use the built-in updater to get the latest version, should be in the system tray, look for it and force an update of just close genie and restart your laptop and you should get a pop up informing you of the latest version.

Hello. Oticon Real 1 user here. Looking to program now. I now have a shiny new Noahlink and need to grab the Genie 2 2023 software. I assume the guide link is also included with the software?
I’ll need to read that first! Thanks for the great forum and thank you for any help!

Hi again Tenkan
Unfortunately the updater did not work but I did receive a link for 2023 from another member. That version would also not linstall without first uninstalling the 2020.1 version. But once I did that all was OK.
Thanks to all for your input.

How weird, it’s strange how this could be, but at least your up and running, but just be careful with any links from new or unknown members.

Welcome to the forum, sure it’s available, great to hear you have your Noahlink wireless already, and yes do read the user guides as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, it’s all pretty easy enough tho.

Welcome to the forum sure it’s available, but you’ll also need the Noahlink wireless programming device as well for projects.

After 5 years of Oticon opn 3 I’m about to aquire my shiny new Real 1s. As an experienced IT guy it feels very inefficient to have to visit my audiologist for every teeny wheeny adjustment of settings, so I want to start DIYing. Noahlink wireless is already there. Could anyone please be so kind to provide a link to the Genie 2 2023 software?
