I have never understood and no one has been able to explain to me, why we can’t have modern analogue hearing aids wich are equalised digitally. We put all this friggin noise reduction, stereo zoom, seperate processors in these things for goodness sake, why can’t we have a pure analogue sound, with a 30 or so graphic EQ band? is it really that hard? surely not. Widex almost did it with 0delay, that tech came out in 2020 or 2021 if memory serves. They are due an update
but that’s by the by. Surely by now, there must be a market for musicians if nothing else, for hearing aids that work like that and don’t take away noise but just filter the analogue world? they’d sound great if done right. Maybe the problem is the market is just too small.
